Connecting Enapter MCP to Claude Desktop
This guide explains how to connect Enapter MCP Server to the Claude Desktop application by Anthropic.
Prerequisites
- Claude Desktop application installed on your computer
- An active Enapter Cloud 3 subscription (for Remote MCP) or a locally running MCP server (see Local MCP server guide)
Remote MCP Server
Claude Desktop supports remote MCP servers natively. To connect to Enapter Cloud MCP:

Open Claude Desktop.

Go to Settings by clicking on the Claude menu (macOS) or hamburger menu (Windows), then select Settings.

In the left panel, click Integrations.

Click Add integration.

Enter the Enapter MCP Server URL:
https://mcp.enapter.com/mcp -
Click Connect and follow the authentication prompts to authorize access to your Enapter Cloud account.
Once connected, Claude will have access to your Energy Management System data. You can verify the connection by asking Claude a question about your devices or telemetry.
Try asking Claude something like:
"Show me the list of my Enapter devices."
