Connecting Enapter MCP to Copilot Studio

This guide explains how to connect Enapter MCP Server to Microsoft Copilot Studio.

Prerequisites

  • Access to Microsoft Copilot Studio
  • Generative Orchestration enabled for your agent
  • An active Enapter Cloud 3 subscription

Remote MCP Server

Copilot Studio supports remote MCP servers through the MCP onboarding wizard:

  1. Open your agent in Copilot Studio.

  2. Go to the Tools page.

  3. Select Add a tool.

  4. Select New tool.

  5. Select Model Context Protocol. The MCP onboarding wizard appears.

  6. Fill in the required fields:

    • Server name: Enapter

    • Server description: Access energy data from Enapter Energy Management System

    • Server URL:

      https://mcp.enapter.com/mcp
  7. Select the authentication type for your MCP server and configure it if needed.

  8. Click Create.

  9. On the Add tool dialog, select Create a new connection.

  10. Select Add to agent to finish adding the MCP server.

Once connected, Enapter tools will be available to your Copilot Studio agent.

Try asking your agent something like:

"Show me the list of my Enapter devices."
